Our Story

Our Story

We lived in the same West Seattle neighborhood for 5 years unwittingly crossing paths before fate finally brought us together.

In typical Seattle fashion, our first date was at a local coffee shop. For our third date I suggested we attend a hot yoga session because Max said he had never been. We had a blast and found ourselves at a restaurant afterwards for margaritas!

The Proposal

Natalia bought us tickets to Paris for my birthday. I already knew I wanted to marry her, this trip provided the best opportunity to make it happen.

We had a long day of activities planned for the day I chose to propose: The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, ending with Michelin star dining. Of course I was nervous and wanted it to be perfect for her. We bought tickets for a Champagne toast at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

We rushed from the Louvre to make it in time so no chance to propose before. And once up at the main floor of the Eiffel Tower it was so windy they closed the top floor access. While we took our time walking around taking pictures and enjoying the views, I was secretly looking for the right place to go afterwards so I could pop the question! She had no idea.

Afterwards I took her across the Seine river to the Fontaine de Varsovie for pictures. I set up a tripod and did a photoshoot of silly pictures. She thought we were just having fun real quick. It was beginning to rain and the wind was so strong. After a few minutes of fun pictures I turned the camera to record. That is when I got down and proposed to Natalia. Thankfully she said YES!
